Support Traditional Owners by monitoring and reporting on the compliance of non-financial obligations under Section 19 land use agreements.
About the Role:
As the Contracts Compliance Officer, you’ll play a key role in the effective administration and monitoring of land use agreements established under the NLC’s statutory functions. Working under the direction of the Senior Contracts Compliance Officer, you will ensure that contracting parties meet their non-financial obligations particularly those relating to cultural, environmental, and social commitments.
Your day-to-day work will include monitoring agreement performance, liaising with internal and external stakeholders, maintaining accurate compliance records, and escalating non-compliance issues when required. You’ll also contribute to the development and implementation of contract management plans and ensure all activities align with legislative and organisational standards.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys detail, values accountability, and takes pride in supporting outcomes that benefit Traditional Owners and their communities.
